Healthcare Informatics Officer (HIO)

Are you passionate about transforming healthcare delivery through clinical informatics and innovative technology? Do you get excited about optimising workflows and turning complex healthcare processes into elegant digital solutions? We are looking for a dynamic Healthcare Informatics Officer who can harness the power of modern digital tools to enhance patient care and operation efficiency

What You Will Do

Ready to make a real difference? You will be our Healthcare Informatics Officer, supporting our Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) to:

• Design and implement clinical information systems and processes to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care
• Manage clinical information system projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation
• Develop and maintain training materials and provide training for users in clinical IT systems
• Ensure that the policies and procedures related to our electronic medical records system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policy and guidelines
• Transform healthcare workflows using AI, RPA, Power Platform, M365 apps and other digital tools to create efficient, user-friendly solutions
• Bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and technology, ensuring our solutions align with clinical needs and improve patient care delivery
• Provide support for workgroups and committees at an institution or cluster-level, as necessary

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in healthcare settings, clinical information systems or successful automation projects using digital tools
• Hands-on experience with automation, AI, RPA, Power Platform, M365 apps and other digital tools (or the drive to learn quickly!)
• IT project management experience
• Knowledge of healthcare informatics standards and best practices
