About The Role

We are expanding our research team by hiring a Head of Research to lead a team of 4 to 6 in APAC and to further develop fundamental research for our products. This is primarily a management role that may also include writing research and regularly engaging with YipitData’s client base to drive additional value beyond our research products. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 7 years of experience who wants to lead the data-driven future of investment research. Backgrounds in buyside or sellside research, management consulting, or experience using data to understand business trends and solve customer problems are a good fit. This is a remote-friendly role based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and communicate valuable insights from our datasets
• SQL-driven granular analysis to derive trends from large datasets, including cohort, concentration, penetration, and competitive analyses
• Collaborate with data and revenue teams to develop new research products and features
• Build and maintain relationships with subscribers, the largest investors
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to position products on client calls and webcasts
• Directly manage the careers of Research Analysts and develop them into larger roles

You're Likely to Succeed If You Have

• Experience in equity research or management consulting-style writing
• A background in business analysis and a passion for data-driven fundamental investing
• A commitment to learning new technology skills and working where coding is common
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
