A private members' club in Singapore is looking for a Head of Membership to lead their membership strategy and engagement. This position requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in business development within a hospitality environment. Responsibilities include driving membership growth, overseeing partnerships, and nurturing a vibrant community. The successful candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a passion for creating meaningful experiences. The Head of Membership leads the club’s membership strategy, growth, and engagement. This role oversees acquisition, retention, partnerships, reciprocal clubs, and curated member experiences, while leading the Membership & Engagement team to deliver an exceptional, values-aligned member journey.
Membership Strategy & Growth
Drive membership acquisition, onboarding, retention, and engagement
Own membership P&L, KPIs, reporting, and performance insights
Analyse trends to inform strategic decisions
Partnerships, Perks & Reciprocal Clubs
Build strategic partnerships and co-branded activations
Oversee member perks and reciprocal club relationships globally
Evaluate partnerships to ensure value, alignment, and impact
Community & Engagement
Cultivate a vibrant, inclusive member community
Maintain strong on-floor presence and member relationships
Identify and nurture member ambassadors
Co-Working Management
Oversee co-working performance, revenue, and engagement
Drive tenant community-building and reporting
Systems & Processes
Oversee CRM, reporting accuracy, and membership operations
Collaborate with Marketing on member communications
Continuously improve membership systems and workflows
Requirements
Min 5 years of experience in either business development/ growth/ sales in an hospitality environment (ie. hotels, MICE, private members club, etc)
Proven success in driving revenue
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
A deep understanding of luxury service standards and high-net-worth clientele.
Passion for community building, culture, and experiences that connect people meaningfully.
