Responsibilities
  • You will lead the team of distribution middle office support to Agency, Financial Advisers, Bancassurance and Broker channels for High Net Worth (HNW) products with the ultimate objective of contributing positively to Great Eastern group market leadership.
  • Develop and manage HNW Centre of Excellence (a cross-functional shared resourcing team across Life Operations, Risk, Underwriting, and Pricing).
  • Accountable for HNW new business and case management, including overseeing HNW new business process and procedures, partner with distribution channel BDM and specialist teams in ensuring HNW cases are processed at industry leading standards.
  • Develop and manage internal relationships and networks with cross-functional teams to ensure timely processing of HNW applications.
  • Engage with external partners including and not limited to premium financing partners, external asset managers, third party insurance companies in co‑ordinating new business and existing policy servicing enquiries and transactions.
  • Efficiently manage resources and budget for effective planning.
  • Ensure that SOPs and guidelines are in place and adhere to both internal governance policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coach and develop the existing team through regular career conversations.
Qualifications
  • Degree holder with at least 12 years of experience with leading financial institution, especially in HNW and Affluent segments.
  • Strong experience in leading a team to achieve service excellence, and drive top and bottom‑line targets.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen. Proven capability to work with multiple channels of businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Good knowledge of the underwriting process.
