Job description

As Head of GEFA Private Wealth Advisory, you will provide strategic leadership and governance for GEFA’s Private Wealth Advisory (PWA) segment, driving growth, productivity, and client outcomes while maintaining robust MAS‑compliant practices. You will also lead the HNW proposition—covering holistic wealth planning, protection, investments, and private market solutions, through an integrated model of advisor enablement, portfolio quality, risk management, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Define and own the PWA strategy: HNW value proposition, product shelf, advisory standards, segmenting & coverage.
  • Build distinctive client journeys for HNW/affluent personas, with clear discovery frameworks, suitability, and review cadence.
  • Partner with Great Eastern product teams to curate approved product shelf with risk ratings, target market statements, and disclosures.
  • Execute HNW acquisition and deepening programs (events, referrals, COIs, private client clubs), with event‑to‑sales conversion funnels.
  • Strengthen advice quality and client experience, whilst leading capability building and governance across a large FA force.
  • Conduct MAS regulated activities, own distribution risk monitoring and governance for GEFA and GE.
  • Set up a team of experts across Investment and UHNW insurance advisory, recruitment and talent development.
  • Build high performance sales team and meet financial and customer financial and strategic metrices.
  • Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for training and performance programs.
  • Supports in Annual Business Planning and other Business Management Presentation where required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related; MBA, CFA, CFP or equivalent is advantageous.
  • 12–15 years in wealth/insurance distribution, private wealth advisory, or bank‑affluent/HNW, including multi‑team leadership and governance.
  • Proven record in building HNW advisory businesses.
  • Strong command of MAS regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management; able to influence senior leaders and large advisor populations.
