Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment and end-to-end management of the finance function for a joint venture within the mutual funds / investment management business
• Act as a strategic finance partner to Managing Directors and Partners, delivering financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business growth and fund performance
• Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across funds and corporate entities
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations, including fund accounting, cash flow management, treasury, working capital, and statutory audits
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and regulatory submissions in accordance with regulatory and reporting standards
• Ensure legal, regulatory, and tax compliance across all financial and investment-related activities
• Manage relationships with banks, custodians, auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders
• Apply a strong “finance lens” to support business expansion, product launches, and strategic initiatives within the mutual funds platform
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team to support scalable growth

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with recognised professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
• At least 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles within Investment Management, Asset Management, or PE/VC
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and partner with senior stakeholders and investment professionals
• Strong commercial acumen, integrity, and sound judgment in complex and regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced organisations
• Entrepreneurial and hands‑on leader with experience building scalable finance functions and teams
