Roles of Receptionist
  • To ensure that the amenities in the room are sufficiently supplied for the convenience and comfort
  • Offers all possible assistance to guests, performs Service Recovery when necessary
  • Familiar with and carries out the policies and procedures established by Hotel YAN and Government's Safety Management Measures
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and pleasantly and ensure that the appropriate connection is made
  • Perform all tasks assigned according to established standards and procedures: take messages upon request, handle guests check-in /check-out and calls, maintain equipment and facilities; report any maintenance problems to engineers on duty
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or the Management
Requirements
  • Able to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to write and communicate in fluent English
  • Ability to use organisation's current computer system
  • Pleasant disposition with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
