Job description

Global HR Operations Lead (Director Level) | Leads a Team

The Frazer Jones team is pleased to be exclusively partnering with a fast-growing global organisation to appoint a Global HR Operations Lead, based in Singapore. This is a critical leadership role with the mandate to oversee and optimise HR operations across multiple geographies, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability as the organisation continues its growth trajectory. With a strong appreciation for operational excellence and global standards, this role is empowered to shape the HR operations framework and deliver best‑in‑class employee experience. Do note that this is a full‑time, permanent role based in Singapore, and frequent travel might be expected (approximately 30‑35%).

Key Responsibilities

You will lead a team of HR Operations specialists and take full ownership of the global HR operations strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of core HR processes for the growing headcount. This includes payroll management, compliance, HRIS governance, and process optimisation. You will partner closely with global and regional stakeholders to align operational practices with business priorities, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key projects include Workday system management and enhancements, payroll standardisation, and harmonisation of HR processes across regions, all of which requires a nuanced understanding of diverse cultures, ways of working, and knowledge of labour laws. Additionally, you will ensure robust controls and adherence to global governance frameworks.

Ideal Profile

The client seeks a seasoned HR operations leader with a proven track record in managing complex HR operations across multiple geographies. As this is a key requirement for the role, in your CV, kindly share the complete list of countries where you have hands‑on HR expertise in.

Experience in global roles would be highly advantageous. At a minimum, candidates must have experience across Asia Pacific markets, with strong exposure to China, Japan, Korea, and ideally Australia and New Zealand. As a guideline, you should have at least 15 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to payroll operations and HRIS systems, ideally Workday. Prior experience leading HR operations teams (e.g. a team size of 5 and above) and driving process transformation is essential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, operational excellence, and the ability to influence and implement change in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

What’s On Offer

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to lead global HR operations for a fast‑growing organisation with a strong international footprint. You will work closely with a highly motivated leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the operational backbone of the HR function.
