Candidates must hold a degree in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore, with preferences for prior experience in geotechnical projects and proficiency in software like Plaxis.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Understand the overall engineering design scheme for the project that you handle.
2. Understand Geotechnical Analyse/Design using software such as Plaxis and others, as well as, can review QPD Geotechnical Design.
3. Review shop drawings for Dwall toe levels, Ground Improvement, Recharge well, Pumping test etc.
4. Carry out temporary slope calculation using Plaxis 2D or Slope W.
5. Coordinate with Authority, QPD and QPS on Design works.

Requirements

1. Possess a Civil and Geotechnical Engineering Degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
2. Prior working experiences in Geotechnical Engineering Projects is preferred.
3. Familiar with Civil/Geotechnical Design in Local Codes, Regulations and Requirements, and Eurocodes.
4. Well verse in Geotechnical Design software, eg. Plaxis, etc.
5. Familiar with Authority submission requirements for Civil & Geotechnical works.
6. Conversant with Statutory code & requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure & construction administration.
7. Able to manage project independently and work under tight datelines.
8. Fresh and Geotechnical Engineers with working experience and welcome to apply.
