Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wine bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. The General Manager will ensure seamless service, maximize profitability, and maintain high standards of customer experience, staff management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and wine bar, ensuring excellent customer service and a high-quality dining experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage all restaurant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor food and beverage inventory, control costs, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of ingredients and wines.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to enhance menu offerings and wine pairings, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and resolving any service-related issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement, promotions, and special events.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer retention, loyalty, and overall satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of wine, food pairings, and beverage service. Certification in wine studies (e.g., WSET, CMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
