Mani Iyer Restaurant is a growing South Indian vegetarian restaurant brand in Singapore. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee end-to-end restaurant operations, drive business growth, and ensure excellent customer experience across our outlets.

The General Manager will be responsible for daily operations, financial performance, staff management, compliance, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Business Management
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Develop and implement SOPs to maintain food quality, hygiene, and service standards
  • Monitor sales performance, costs, and profitability
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational reports
Staff & Leadership
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage restaurant staff
  • Lead outlet managers and supervisors to achieve operational targets
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage staff discipline
  • Ensure compliance with MOM labour regulations
Customer Experience
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery
  • Ensure brand consistency across outlets
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with SFA, NEA, MOM, and other regulatory requirements
  • Oversee food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and licensing matters
Business Growth
  • Support outlet expansion, new menu launches, and promotional campaigns
  • Work closely with owners on strategic planning and process improvements
  • Liaise with suppliers, landlords, and service providers
Requirements
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in F&B or restaurant management
  • At least 2–3 years in a senior management or GM role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations and compliance
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Strong financial and operational management abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work weekends and public holidays when required
Preferred Skills
  • Experience managing multiple outlets
  • Knowledge of Indian / South Indian cuisine is an advantage
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and cost management
