Job summary

A language education institution in Singapore is seeking a Japanese Language Teacher to teach students from elementary to intermediate levels. Job description

As a Japanese Language Teacher, you are a role model in terms of the way you speak Japanese.

You must be able to connect with your students and understand their difficulties in learning the Language.

You have to be able to make classes enjoyable yet knowledgeable.

You must have native levels of understanding of the Japanese language and culture.

Prefered experience teaching the Japanese Language Levels (Elementary to Intermediate)

Your duties and responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of lessons
  • Conducting lessons
  • Marking homework
  • Making teaching materials/handouts, if necessary
  • Attending meetings/training sessions
  • Organizing & conducting cultural events
  • Other miscellaneous
Condition of employment
  • Completed 420 hours of Japanese language teaching course
  • To be able to communicate in English
  • Any age, regardless of gender, no experience required
Working hours

Must be able to work any time zone below:

Weekdays: 4pm – 9:45pm

Weekends: 9:00am – 7:45pm

Salary

Full-timer: SGD$3,300.- onwards

Part-timer: SGD$35.-/hour
