Job summary

A local community services organization in Singapore is seeking dedicated individuals to facilitate lesson delivery and mentorship for children and Youth. Responsibilities include supervising school assignments, organizing community initiatives, and actively engaging families. Ideal candidates will possess at least GCE N/O/A levels or Diploma, have effective English communication skills, and a passion for nurturing youth. Experience with children is preferred, but training will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with potential for variable bonus and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

  • GCE N/O/A levels/Diploma and above required.
  • Passion for nurturing children/Youth is essential.
  • Experience with children/Youth preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lesson content to children and Youth.
  • Supervise primary school children and Youth to ensure assignments are completed.
  • Participate in community initiatives promoting wellbeing.
  • Plan Teacher’s Guided Activities and conduct mentorship programs.

Job description
Roles and Responsibility
  • Delivery and presentation of lesson content to children and Youth
  • Supervision of primary school children (P1 to P6)/ Youth (secondary) to ensure completion of daily assignments/mentorship session.
  • Participate in community-based initiatives to promote the wellbeing of children, Youth, and families.
  • Planning and preparation of Teacher’s Guided Activities/ conduct of mentorship program with Youth
  • Assist with centre management according to policies and guidelines.
  • Regular liaison with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and behaviour
Requirements/Prerequisite
  • GCE N/O/A levels/Diploma and above
  • Team player attitude
  • Able to communicate effectively in English
  • Resourcefulness in providing activities and program that can engage children/Youth.
  • Possess a passion for nurturing children/Youth
  • Experience in working with children/Youth preferred. Those without experience may also apply as training will be provided.
Salary range
  • up to $3,500 (depend on qualification and experience)

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday (non-school holidays) 10am to 7pm
  • School holiday working hours: 8-hour shift between 7.30am to 7pm (Mon - Fri)
