Job summary

A leading fire safety firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to oversee the implementation and management of fire safety measures across data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering, a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety and compliance while fostering a culture of fire safety within the organization.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the implementation and overall management of fire safety in data centers across the Asia-Pacific region (Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.);

2. Lead the real-time response, coordination, and resolution of fire incidents in data centers, ensuring efficient communication with internal teams, emergency services, and stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions and ensure the safety of personnel and infrastructure;

3. Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments of data center facilities, identify key hazards, develop optimized risk control plans (such as fire systems and evacuation procedures), and promote systematic improvements to the fire management system;

4. Regularly inspect fire safety facilities (such as sprinkler systems, alarm devices, fire extinguishers, etc.), identify deficiencies, and supervise responsible parties to implement corrective measures to ensure compliance with local regulations;

5. Design, create, and improve fire safety process documents to strengthen the robustness and compliance of the data center fire management system;

6. Establish cross-functional collaboration mechanisms to deeply integrate fire safety requirements into daily operations, fostering a safety culture at all levels of the organization and ensuring standardized implementation through targeted training, safety awareness campaigns, and feedback mechanisms. 1. At least 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering or fire protection systems;

2. Comprehensive understanding of international fire protection regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., NFPA, ISO 45001, local fire protection laws and regulations);

3. Practical experience in handling fire emergencies;

4. Excellent communication and coordination skills, initiative, sense of responsibility, and good teamwork spirit;

5. Language requirements: English (required), Chinese (required).
