Job description

Our client is a leading player in the telecommunications infrastructure industry. As part of its expansionary plan, it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as Financial Analyst (Ref: KHXXX).

Overview

This position is an integral part of the Finance team.

The Job

• Responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecast which require evaluating and recommending modification generated from analysis on the following:
  1. Annual budget and financial projections
  2. Modeling for pricing review
  3. Reforecast exercise
• Responsible for providing comprehensive review and commentary to decision makers including, but not limited to:
  1. analysis of revenue performance and growth, profit and losses, variances, revenue reports and key performance indicators
  2. reports and commentary for Audit Committee and/or Board
  3. data or reports required by C‑Suits, including review of business cases
• Responsible for financial planning and analysis software (BoardX)
• Assist manager to run migration project for BoardX
• Assist manager on valuation‑related matters e.g. goodwill impairment, hedging, LTI
• Assist manager with bank‑related procedures and processes as well as refinancing and debt management
• Assist manager with Solvency Statement & Distribution
• Monthly cash flow analysis and optimization of cash.
• Collaborates closely with finance team and various cost centre owners
• Assist in any ad‑hoc duties and projects as assigned

The Candidate

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3‑5 years of working experience in a similar position in commercial firms. Audit experience is an added advantage
• Organized and meticulous with good attention to details
• Strong computer literacy, proficient in MS Excel. Experience in SAP B1 is an added advantage.
• Fast learner who possesses a well‑groomed personality and is capable of multitasking
