Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead financial reporting, group consolidation, and business analysis for a diversified portfolio of real estate investment entities. This role involves managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with various stakeholders, supporting investment decisions, and ensuring compliance with statutory and audit requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to support the organization’s financial health and growth.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial and management reporting for a portfolio of real estate investment entities.
• Manage group consolidation and monthly reporting for approximately 60 entities, including subsidiaries, joint ventures, and associates across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam.
• Coordinate with fund and asset managers, as well as finance teams of affiliated entities, to gather and validate financial data for consolidation and reporting.
• Prepare consolidated budgets and forecasts, along with relevant financial analysis to support strategic planning.
• Provide financial insights and decision support to senior management.
• Oversee cash flow management to support investment and financing needs.
• Collaborate with banks and financial institutions for project financing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, external audits, and statutory regulations.
• Review tax submissions prepared by external tax advisors for all related entities.
• Evaluate legal agreements (e.g., JV and Sale & Purchase Agreements) to safeguard organizational interests.
• Supervise the preparation and finalization of audited accounts for dormant or inactive entities.
• Handle any additional tasks or special projects as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years in group consolidation involving intercompany transactions.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Cognos or similar financial systems is a plus.
