Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This may involve assessing market risks, credit risks, liquidity risks, and operational risks, and implementing risk management practices and controls.
  • Manage the organization's investment portfolio, including evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and making recommendations for investment decisions. Monitor investment performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Analyze costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Develop cost management strategies and monitor cost performance against budgetary targets.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and initiatives.
