About the Role:

The B2B Field Marketing Manager will lead impactful marketing programs to engage audiences in the Academic and Government segment across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. This results-oriented role focuses on developing and executing data-driven, customer-centric programs that generate marketing-sourced deals and strengthen customer engagement. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering localized, integrated marketing plans tailored to local market needs, driving new business through targeted campaigns, and applying customer journey and segmentation strategies. The role will also collaborate with product and central marketing teams to localize and amplify global campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a creative, results-driven marketer with experience running integrated programs and collaborating closely with sales and global marketing teams to maximize impact. They will track and report on campaign performance, particularly Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and marketing-sourced revenue. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to build customer relationships across digital and in-person channels are essential. This role reports to the APAC Field Marketing Director

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing plans tailored to the unique needs of local markets in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
  • Collaborate with central campaign teams to localize and amplify global campaigns, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Drive marketing campaigns aimed at expanding the customer base, fostering new business, and increasing engagement with existing customers through targeted segmentation.
  • Provide demand generation reporting on campaign outcomes, with a specific focus on MQL generation and marketing-sourced deals.
  • Work closely with sales teams and global marketing counterparts to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with business objectives.
  • Leverage digital marketing strategies and event management to support both online and in-person engagement efforts.
  • Regularly track campaign performance and optimize marketing strategies to meet goals related to MQLs, marketing-sourced revenue, and overall growth.
Requirements:
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in field marketing (preferably in the academic publishing-related or software industry), including campaign management, event management, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Proven experience in digital field marketing, demand generation and lead management
  • Experienced in driving campaigns via marketing automation tools, digital and social channels.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to participate in global cross-functional teams and manage time zone differences for international meetings.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience driving projects and collaborating across teams including Product, Sales, Business Development, Global Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency or high-level understanding in digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, etc.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30%.
