Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a design professional with experience in sportswear design to create innovative apparel collections. You will be responsible for researching trends, preparing technical mock-ups, and collaborating with production teams to ensure quality and fit of final products. This position offers a monthly salary of $3000-$3500 and is based in Changi, Singapore. The work environment is from Monday to Friday during office hours.

Responsibilities

• Research trends, target brands, and customer personas to brainstorm and create apparel collections from concept to final styling.
• Stay updated on colors, fabrics, trims, technology, and sports-related products through research and product experience.
• Prepare sketches, moodboards, technical packs, and 3D or physical mock-ups to ensure alignment with collection goals.
• Review and develop fitting prototypes, communicate design adjustments, and ensure feasibility and precision from development to bulk production.
• Work closely with design and in-house production teams, provide input during fittings, and present design concepts professionally.
• Conduct measurements, sampling, and testing to ensure fit, quality, and presentation-ready final pieces.
• Take on additional projects, adapt to team-based work structures, and contribute proactively to collection development.
