Position Summary
Responsible for managing, prioritising, planning, and overseeing the maintenance of grounds, production equipment, and facilities including environmental control and fire protection systems.
In this role you will:
Facilities
- Manage the building, mechanical and electrical infrastructure to meet operational, safety and legal requirements.
- Ensure provision and analysis of energy monitoring data and action plans to ensure utilisation of energy sources optimized.
- Develop and maintain energy strategy that meets evolving legislative, environmental and cost demands.
- Manage Chiller system for paint mode and Air Handling Units (AHU).
- Oversee facility-related contracts and service agreements, covering hard (mechanical, electrical, buildings) and soft (cleaning, waste management) services.
- Coordinate and communicate facilities, grounds, and equipment maintenance and repair schedule to senior management.
- Develop and manage the facility management budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining operational standards.
- Respond to facility emergencies promptly, coordinating necessary actions to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
Qualification
- You have Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or equivalent are highly preferred.
- You have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and ideally within an Aviation Services facility.
- You have experience in aircraft or automotive painting.
- You possess the ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams for paint.
- You have interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, other business areas and governmental agencies.
- You have verbal and written communication skills.
- You have planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
- You hold computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate work processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email, and web‑based applications.
