Job summary

A leading transportation services company in Singapore is seeking a Lead Technician to ensure proper maintenance of facilities. The role involves managing contractors, overseeing safety compliance, and conducting audits. Ideal candidates should have a relevant diploma/degree and at least 3 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, with additional certifications being advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Building Management System preferred.

Job description
Job roles
  • Lead Technicians to ensure that Depot and Interchanges are maintained in good condition.

  • Provide Technical (M&E) advice and manage facilities-related maintenance and repair works.

  • Function as a liaison with contractors and vendors.

  • Monitor contractors and vendor performance to ensure contractual adherence.

  • Perform and carry out inspection / internal audits that cover facility maintenance, workplace safety & health, and safety facilities.

  • Carry out and follow up on external audit findings conducted by external or regulatory bodies.

  • Provide feedback to HOD and management on technical data / trends.

  • Identify and implement steps to improve company performance and processes.

  • Support HOD in any other ad-hoc assignments or project.

  • Respond to users’ requests and alarms.

  • Supervise and ensure workplace safety and health risks are identified, assessed and controlled, and provide employees with information on compliance to workplace safety and health policies.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of working experience.

  • Candidate with WSH and/or FSM certification will be advantageous.

  • Candidate with experience in Building Management System will be advantageous.
