Job summary

A leading catering company in Singapore is seeking a delivery driver to perform deliveries and collections of food orders. Candidates must possess a valid Class 4 driving license and demonstrate good knowledge of Singapore roads. The role requires flexibility in working hours, a positive attitude, and the responsibility to maintain hygiene standards while handling food items.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class 4 driving license with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and delivery routes.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform delivery, collection, and packing of food orders to outlets.
• Ensure proper handling and upkeep of all goods.
• Load and unload goods safely, handling perishable items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company safety procedures.
• Demonstrate a positive work attitude and be physically fit.
• Assist in other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform delivery, collection, and packing of food orders, stocks, and products to various Compass Group outlets across Singapore
• Ensure proper handling and upkeep of all goods, including temperature-sensive (CPU) products
• Load and unload goods safely, including handling perishable & food items when required
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the delivery vehicle at all times
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company safety procedures
• Demonstrate a positive work attitude, be physically fit, trustworthy, and open to instructions
• Assist in other related duties such as event set up to catering standard, or as assigned by the supervisor or management

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Compass Singapore HSE systems and procedures
• Follow all Emergency Response plans on site
• Follow procedures for identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks
• Adhere to and maintain food handling standards and food safety plan at all times

Job Requirements:
