Media TreeWorks is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our growth strategy in the exhibition and event industry. Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and market share goals.
- Identify growth opportunities in new markets and segments, with a focus on high-value clients.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Prospect, pitch, and close new business opportunities across the exhibition and events sector.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction from initial briefing to final execution.
- Serve as the key point of contact for ongoing client communication and retention.
Team Leadership & Sales Process Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle – from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform strategic decisions.
- Track sales KPIs and generate regular performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams—especially design, production, and project management—to ensure client expectations are met.
- Act as the bridge between client requirements and creative execution.
Budget & Resource Management
- Plan and monitor sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI-driven decisions.
Accountability & Reporting
- Report directly to the Managing Director, aligning sales strategy and performance with group-level objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, design, or experiential marketing.
- Strong Business Development Acumen with a demonstrated ability to close large deals and expand client portfolios.
- Understanding of Exhibition Stand Design Principles, materials, modular solutions, and on-ground execution.
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills – both verbal and written.
- CRM & Digital Sales Tools Proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Financial Awareness – ability to work with revenue targets, sales forecasts, and cost structures.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
