A community recreational association in Singapore is seeking an Events Executive to oversee the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Events Management and relevant work experience. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and creating engaging content. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be open-minded and willing to work weekends.
As an Events Executive, you are resourceful, highly motivated & proactive individual, tasked to create and bring in events to our members and guests, ensuring that events are managed effectively. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate spaces for event needs. As an ambassador of the Association, you will drive positive and delightful experiences to drive footfall and loyalty to the Clubhouse.
Oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of major sports and recreational activities, as well as events for members and families.
Plan the annual work and budget for events, including interest groups.
Assist in the management and administration of the respective interest groups.
Garner sponsorships for clubhouse events and campaigns.
Manage the creation of relevant and engaging content for publishing onto various platforms.
Work with the Corporate Communication Team in the publishing of activities’ promotional materials on social media, website, or in e-newsletters.
Work with the respective clubhouse’s activities committees to chart out the Association’s annual calendar of events/activities.
Maintain an inventory list and account for inventories/equipment for the respective activities/events.
Keep abreast of activities organized by other clubhouses and introduce new activities for the Association’s members and their families.
Work with Clubhouse Marketing department to ensure clubhouse’s digital, physical signages, communication materials (such as posters, notices, rules and regulations) and media assets are updated and to ensure relevancy and in accordance with corporate identity requirements.
To be responsible for collation of data, preparation, and presentation of management reports.
Assist in preparing proposal papers on projects to Executive Committee for approval.
Minimum Diploma in Events Management or Integrated Events Management
Relevant work experience highly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft software
Proficiency in video software preferred
Possess analytical skills and able to conceptualize innovative ideas
Team player, positive attitude, open-minded and highly motivated in getting things done in fast-paced environment
Enjoy interacting with people
Ability and willingness to work weekends
