Job Purpose

The Events Technician supports the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio, visual, lighting, and effects equipment for events. This role requires hands‑on technical skills, flexibility in working hours, and the ability to work in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the rigging, setup, operation, and dismantling of audio, visual, lighting, and effects equipment for events

• Perform proper cable management to ensure safety and efficiency

• Carry out basic electrical works related to event setups

• Conduct basic maintenance and care of audio, visual, and lighting (AVL) equipment

• Support basic woodworking tasks for event staging, props, or structures

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and event operational requirements

• Support the events team in ad‑hoc technical and operational duties as required

Work Requirements

The role requires flexibility and commitment, including the ability to:

• Work at least 5 days a week, including at least 1 day over the weekend

• Work long and irregular shift hours when required

• Work on public holidays and weekends

• Work outdoors and in different weather conditions
