Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the smooth execution of our events and daily operations. You will be responsible for handling permit applications, coordinating event logistics, and liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event setup and teardown.

Key Responsibilities
  • Permit Applications: Manage and apply for necessary government and venue permits required for events and operations.
  • Event Coordination: Ensure smooth event setup and teardown by coordinating with vendors, crew, and internal departments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, external vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Support: Assist in preparing event documentation, timelines, and logistics checklists.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate operational issues and troubleshoot problems on-site when they arise.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records, update project trackers, and ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Monitor equipment and supplies related to event setups, and coordinate deliveries and collections as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Prior experience in event coordination, operations, or administrative support is preferred.
