Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting for ESH-related activities; liaise with process owners for feedback and improvement.
• Promote safety culture and awareness through training, communication, and ESH-related programmes.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, HAZOP, EAI, PPE assessment reviews, and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Lead and support monthly ESH team meetings, SHMS audits, and documentation for legal registers and authority submissions.
• Manage contractor safety, including document review, induction, on-site assessments, and PTW compliance.
• Coordinate workplace arrangements, ensure 5S standards, and promote workplace improvement initiatives.
• Support process safety improvements, SOP reviews, management of change (PCA), and safe work practice implementation (e.g., LOTO, shutdown procedures).
• Assist in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and coordination with authorities; ensure functionality of emergency equipment.
• Arrange and manage 3rd party testing (e.g., industrial hygiene, stack emission) and external trainings (e.g., forklift, confined space, CERT).
• Perform other ESH-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant working experience
• Entry level canddiates with strong knowledge in Process Safety Management (PSM) are welcome.
• WSQ certifications: Specialist in WSH Level C, Manage Work at Height, Supervise/Assess Confined Space, Implement Incident Management Process, Develop Risk Management Implementation Plan.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems and Singapore legal requirements; understanding of implementation and assessment is a plus.
