Job description
Role Summary

To deliver exceptional technical service, maintenance, and support for CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) and WDS (Water Detection System) infrastructure in data center environments. Ensure system reliability, client satisfaction, and strict adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Service & Maintenance:

  • Perform periodic servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CRAC/WDS systems.
  • Diagnose hardware/software faults, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct equipment power-up/down procedures and respond promptly to e-calls (emergency calls).

Client Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support and onsite training on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
  • Maintain strong client relationships, particularly with site engineers.
  • Liaise with customer engineering departments to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Complete detailed service reports after each servicing/e-call.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports on work activities, progress, and remedial actions.
  • Maintain accurate filing, documentation, and tracking of all service records.

Site & Contractor Management:

  • Monitor and manage contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety/operational procedures.
  • Review site "Events and Actions," implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Plan, execute, and update daily work schedules.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Strictly follow data center safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ensure all work activities comply with occupational safety guidelines.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements
  • Minimum ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance engineering (ACMV/DX systems preferred).
  • Proficient in electrical/mechanical systems troubleshooting.
  • Practical knowledge of CRAC, WDS, or related critical infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Team player with a positive, motivated, and willing-to-learn attitude.
  • Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to perform standby duties, including availability to work on weekends and public holidays, as required by operational needs.
  • Physically fit for hands-on tasks in data center environments.
