DAIHATSU INFINEARTH (ASIA PACIFIC) PTE. LTD. was established in Singapore in 1982 and is the exclusive distributor in Asia for DAIHATSU INFINEARTH MFG. CO., LTD. (Formerly DAIHATSU DIESEL MFG CO., LTD.), a leading manufacturer of medium speed diesel engines for marine vessels and power generation plants.

To further develop our regional business, we are seeking a highly motivated Engine Sales Manager to join our Engine Sales Group based in Singapore. This position offers an opportunity to undergo extensive technical and commercial training at our Japan Headquarters for 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sales, marketing, and promotional activities for medium-speed engines for marine and land applications
  • Manage the full sales cycle including quotation, negotiation, contract management, payment, and delivery
  • Understand customer needs and market trends and act as a bridge between customers and internal departments
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as design, production, quality management, procurement, after-sales service, and finance
  • Support after-sales services including spare parts sales and service projects
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide technical consultations
  • Travel within the Asia Pacific region as required, including long overseas business trips to India, Bangladesh, and the Middle East
  • Support Japan HQ and coordinate with regional stakeholders
Requirements & Preferences
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in medium-speed diesel engines
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in dual-fuel engines
  • Business-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Japanese language proficiency to liaise with Japanese counterparts (JLPT N3 minimum, N1 preferred)
  • Business-level proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia (reading, writing, and speaking) is required for business meetings and negotiations with customers in Indonesia.
  • Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation and teamwork

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
