Job Overview

We are looking for a capable Electrical Engineer cum Business Development Executive to join our Singapore office.

This is a hybrid technical-commercial role. The candidate will be responsible for engineering design and support of renewable energy projects while also handling business development activities. The role involves frequent communication with our China headquarters, requiring fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Roles & Responsibilities

Engineering Responsibilities

• Design and review electrical systems for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Prepare system specifications, single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, and layout drawings.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis.
• Support project execution including procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore\'s EMA regulations and international electrical standards.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables with China HQ and local subcontractors.

Business Development Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new EPC business opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Engage with potential clients, developers, consultants, and stakeholders to promote company solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, tender documents, and presentations.
• Attend client meetings, conduct negotiations, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor market trends, government policies, and competitor activities.
• Regularly report project and business updates to China HQ in Chinese.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Singapore’s regulatory framework (e.g., EMA standards), as well as local and regional renewable energy markets.
• Strong client-facing, commercial proposal writing, and project coordination skills.
• Able to travel when required for site visits, client meetings, and regional engagements.
