Job summary
A development center for children with special needs in Singapore seeks an energetic and self-motivated individual to develop intervention plans and teach children with learning difficulties. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has experience in early intervention or autism centers. This role offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in relevant fields is required.
- Preferred 2 years of experience in Early Intervention Centers or Autism Centers.
- Teaching and classroom management experience will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop intervention and lesson plans for children.
- Communicate with parents when required.
- Manage EIP group and individual classes.

Good interpersonal and communication skills
Teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting
Education
Degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
Certificate in Autism or Special Education
- Experience in intervention for children (5-12yr) with specific learning difficulties.
- Develop intervention and lesson plans
- Apply various behaviour management strategies and programs in teaching children with various learning difficulties/disorders (e.g., ASD, ADHD, GDD, etc.)
- Manage EIP group classes and individual classes
- Together with the Multi-Disciplinary Team of Speech and Occupational therapist, set IEP Goals for student, monitor progress and report on progress.
- Communicate with parents when required
- Work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists
- Degree in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Certificate in Autism or Special Education
- Prefer 2 years of experience, working in an Early Intervention Center or Autism Center.
- Candidates with teaching and classroom management experience will be an advantage
