Job description

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements for PMC-managed projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Control & Management
  • Establish and maintain the Project Document Control System in accordance with PMC procedures.
  • Register, track, distribute, and archive all incoming and outgoing project documents (e.g. drawings, specifications, submissions, correspondence).
  • Ensure all documents are properly numbered, version-controlled, approved, and issued to the correct stakeholders.
  • Maintain master document registers and ensure records are up to date.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate document submissions between Client, Consultants, Contractors, and Authorities.
  • Monitor document review cycles and follow up on overdue submissions and responses.
  • Maintain records for audits, claims, and project close-out documentation.
  • Assist in preparation of handover documents, O&M manuals, and as-built records.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction / PMC environment.
  • Familiar with document control systems (e.g. Aconex, ACC, Procore, SharePoint, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and document traceability.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
