Job Description

The Director, Vendor Operations will lead the strategy, process design, and execution of onboarding and activating new restaurant partners and shops across 17 diverse markets. This role is critical to ensuring seamless integration, operational efficiency, and long‑term vendor success. In addition to overseeing scalable processes and cross‑functional alignment, this role will incubate new vendor relationships, including supporting the sale of commercial offerings like deals and ads and drive vendor revival programs to ensure high platform inventory and engagement levels. The Director, Vendor Operations will also lead and drive a high performance team focussed on all aspects of the vendor lifecycle and supporting all of the regional and local teams.

What’s On The Menu – Major Responsibilities
  • Onboarding & Activation: Lead the design and execution of the end‑to‑end process for onboarding and activating new restaurant partners, ensuring fast, high‑quality integration onto the platform. Including Contract and business validation, KYB, Menu and Photo Uploads, and activation
  • Vendor Incubation & Commercial Enablement: Support the incubation of new vendors by collaborating with commercial teams to activate early stage monetization, including the sale of ads, deals, and promotional tools that boost vendor visibility and performance
  • Vendor Revival & Inventory Health: Drive targeted initiatives to revive dormant or underperforming vendors, helping to restore operational readiness and maintain healthy levels of vendor inventory on the platform
  • Scalable Processes: Develop and implement scalable onboarding and content workflows that support high‑volume growth across multiple markets while ensuring consistency and local relevance
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Commercial, In‑house and BPO operational teams to improve the vendor journey and ensure restaurant partners are equipped to succeed
  • Vendor Content Optimization: Oversee the team responsible for ensuring restaurant content (menus, photos, descriptions) is accurately created, updated, and optimized to meet platform and customer experience standards
  • Operational Excellence: Identify inefficiencies or blockers in the vendor lifecycle, propose practical solutions, and implement best practices to improve speed, quality, and operational performance
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in vendor management, onboarding, or content operations, with strong expertise in driving performance across commercial and operational touchpoints
  • Proven track record of scaling teams and processes in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution skills, able to bridge cross‑functional needs with operational delivery
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership and external partners
