This role combines the disciplines of DevOps and Quality Assurance (QA) Automation to ensure our deployed systems are not only operationally stable but also functionally impeccable, from the infrastructure layer to the user interface.

Job Description

You will be a pivotal force in our engineering team, responsible for the health of our infrastructure and the quality of our software. You will architect reliable deployment pipelines, maintain production and testing environments, and build automated test suites. Your work directly bridges development, QA, and operations, ensuring rapid, safe, and high-quality delivery of our mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure, DevOps & O&M

  
  
  
  

  • Manage and monitor production systems, ensuring high availability and performance (Linux/Windows, Zabbix).

  
  

  • Provision, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

  
  

  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines) for automated deployments.

  
  

  • Administer virtualization platforms, containers (Docker), and implement backup/recovery solutions.

  
  
  
  



• Quality Assurance & Test Automation

  
  
  
  

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end and API automated test suites using Cypress for our React/Node.js stack.

  
  

  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to act as quality gates for every release.

  
  

  • Perform backend/API testing to validate business logic, data integrity, and service integrations.

  
  

  • Champion quality best practices, collaborate on test strategy, and document test cases.

  • Implement and validate security controls and configurations across infrastructure and applications.

  
  

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, procedures, and tests.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (4+ years) in a combined or adjacent DevOps/SRE and QA Automation role.




• DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), IaC (Terraform), CI/CD tools, and system administration.




• QA Automation Expertise: Strong proficiency with Cypress for testing modern web applications. Solid programming in JavaScript/TypeScript.




• Full-Stack Understanding: Experience with React frontends and Node.js backends/APIs.




• Security & Process Mindset: Understanding of security best practices and a meticulous approach to documentation and incident management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter) and security testing concepts.




• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and configuration management (Ansible).




• Experience in regulated industries (defense, government) with high compliance standards.




• Relevant professional certifications.
