  • Supporting senior management in areas of underwriting, claim and corporate governance through close communication with the parent company in Japan and MSIG Group companies
  • Growing MSIG group synergy business through inward/outward treaty reinsurance
  • Fostering risk management culture collaborating with CRO
  • Conducting research and analysis on reinsurance markets
  • Reporting to Head Office in Japan
Requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in non‑life insurance company is mandatory, particularly in inward/outward treaty reinsurance business
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese as well as English for interactions with Head Office colleagues – this is a non‑negotiable requirement
  • Profound understanding of the Japanese culture and good understanding of the local workplace culture
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
