Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a role in Turnaround and Restructuring Services. The ideal individual will perform financial analysis, assist clients in cash-flow projections, and liaise with various stakeholders. Overview

KP MG Turnaround and Restructuring Services help businesses and their stakeholders to conceptualise and implement strategic, operational and financial change. These changes arise from a constantly evolving business lifecycle and technological disruptions that affect how businesses operate. We assist clients in finding innovative solutions—from being a catalyst to improving performance and achieving sustainable growth—to providing our expertise in navigating complex cross‑border insolvencies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis on the historical and current financial performance of the client to determine the viability of the business and identify immediate remedies to resuscitate the business.
  • Assist the client in preparing cash‑flow projections and ascertain the validity of the assumptions adopted and liquidity requirements of the client.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders of the client in administrative matters (judicial management, liquidation, receivers, and managers) including dealing with creditors' queries, recovering and realizing assets, and fulfilling the statutory obligations of the administrators.
  • Support business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and identifying opportunities.
  • Work closely with Partners and Managers on client management and business development activities.
Qualifications
  • Possess a good Accountancy Degree or a Business Degree.
  • Ideally CPA or CA qualified.
  • Be familiar with the applicable Singapore law on corporate restructuring and insolvency.
  • Be able to work in teams with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a strong understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals.
  • Be resourceful, versatile, analytical and possess strong project management skills.
  • Be familiar with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau. Candidates with coding skills will be preferred.
