Position Description

DDI SME for APAC

Team Overview

APAC DDI SME team is based in Singapore with a team size of 4.

The team is responsible for designing, deploying and managing the regional DDI/IPAM infrastructure.

The team is designated as escalation point for Network Operations to provide timely solutions and consultations to restore critical production incidents.

Required Qualifications (minimally 70% match)

• 8-10 years of deep technical experience working on IPAM environments
• Deep understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing and Time Services
• High degree of experience in the day-to-day configuration and level3 troubleshooting of IPAM DHCP, DNS, and DDNS
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IPAM products in a large, distributed environment.
• Creating & modifying DNS zone files manually (forward and reverse zones)
• Ability to Plan, verify, and integrate DDI solutions for complex client applications.
• Good Knowledge on DNS Anycast and other backup mechanisms.
• knowledge in Network Time Services
• Integration of DNS and DHCP in Active Directory environment
• Optional: Knowledge of F5 3DNS and GTM
• Assume overall ownership and accountability for technical solutions provided to clients.
• Understanding of the principles of network routing/switching
• Strong discipline regarding enforcement of access and change management core principles.
• Basic knowledge Unix/Linux and Windows environments
• Strong attention to detail, confident enough to raise questions and raise when necessary.
• Strong leadership skills and qualities which enable candidate to network, lead within the organization and influence.
• Experience deploying large-scale, global projects and programs.
• Familiarity with IT security and risk management practices.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and respond to rapidly changing demands.
• Understanding of financial services regulatory and legal environment
• Ability to articulate technical and business issues and solutions effectively to business or technical staff across organizational layers.
