STOREFRIENDLY is a leading provider of self-storage and related services in Singapore with multiple branches offering customers 24/7 access convenience, secured and climate controlled short and long term storage solutions. The Group will be expanding in 2026 with more branches and product offerings and thus is now recruiting and training more frontline staff to support the targeted growth.

Job Summary

Join STOREFRIENDLY as a Customer Service Officer to support customers in selecting storage solutions, managing rental agreements, resolving service issues, and maintaining branch operations in a friendly and professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • In-Person Engagement: Greeting visitors, tenants, or customers and addressing inquiries through direct walk-ins or scheduled appointments.
  • Handling on-site viewings: Assessing customers' storage needs and recommending suitable storage units, services, or merchandise.
  • Transaction Processing: Sign-ups, payments, move-ins, move-outs and merchandise sales directly at branch counter.
  • Problem-Solving, Escalation & De-escalation: Addressing customer complaints in real-time, requiring a high level of composure and immediate conflict resolution skills.
  • Inventory & Asset Control: Managing the requisition and organization of on-site supplies, from merchandise, marketing materials to office and maintenance stock.
  • Site Management and Maintenance: Facility inspections to ensure site meets safety, cleanliness and brand standards and coordinating with relevant internal departments and/or vendors, scheduling and overseeing routine checks and maintenance for building systems to prevent service disruptions.
  • Administrative Support: Maintaining accurate records of interactions, processing physical documentation, and coordinating with back-office departments.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Active Listening & Empathy: Interpreting both verbal and non-verbal cues to understand customer needs effectively.
  • Critical Thinking & Adaptability: Ability to prioritize urgent tasks over routine administrative tasks during high-traffic periods and flexibility to pivot between physical tasks (e.g., facility checks) and digital ones (e.g., answering emails).
  • Willingness to Learn: To gain better understanding of company products, services and systems and improve professional skills.
  • Personality and Professional Presentation: Cheerful and friendly disposition and ability to adhere to strict grooming and uniform standards as a brand ambassador of the STOREFRIENDLY Group.
  • Qualifications and Experience: At least GCE 'N' or 'O' Level and 1 year of work experience (preferably in sales or customer service roles).
