Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Carry out all purchasing activities (include sourcing, pricing and contract negotiations, PO processing, delivery follow‑up with vendors)
  • Drive the Request for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFP)/Tender activities and manage competitive bidding processes, define evaluation criteria, identify and select suppliers, execute the evaluation process, refine and validate sourcing and purchasing options, manage buy‑in of key stakeholders.
  • Experience in indirect procurement activities will be an added advantage.
  • Lead and execute negotiations for commercial contracts in alignment with site needs to secure favourable terms and conditions, ensure that portfolio has consistent information and renewals or termination due date is under control.
  • Provide support to business functions by securing supply of products/services, ensuring purchases are value‑for‑money and cost‑effective.
  • Experienced in handling different levels of internal stakeholders/end users on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Experience in managing suppliers to ensure no disruption to business operations at all times.
  • Conduct supplier evaluation and selection process to ensure submissions are in line with the technical and commercial specifications as required. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
  • Undertake continuous procurement improvement initiatives.

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years relevant working experience in indirect procurement
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing processes and/or strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skill
  • Ability to adapt to fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Well conversed with Microsoft Office. SAP experience would be an advantage
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred
  • Resilient, self‑driven, independent team player and able to work well under pressure
  • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
  • This is a 12 months contract under 3rd party payroll partner and entitled to benefits according to partner company
