Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Administrative Manager. This role is essential for overseeing administrative operations, including regulatory compliance and coordination among project teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in business administration or construction management, with at least 3 years of administrative experience in the construction sector. Key responsibilities include managing project documentation, liaising with government agencies, and ensuring smooth operations across sites.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
  • Experience liaising with government agencies and managing compliance matters.
  • Prior experience handling foreign worker documentation and permit applications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate administrative staff across office and construction sites.
  • Manage all project documentation, including permits, contracts, insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with Singaporean laws and regulations.
  • Maintain filing systems for all statutory and project-related documentation.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for project approvals and audits.
  • Coordinate procurement processes and manage office/site supplies inventory.
  • Assist with HR administration, including onboarding of foreign workers.
  • Liaise with government bodies as required.
  • Support project costing and invoice processing.
  • Ensure proper documentation of workplace safety and health requirements.
  • Assist in managing tender submissions and tracking deadlines.

Strong command of English (spoken and written)

Education

Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Construction Management
