We are seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to develop and oversee cloud security strategies that protect our data and infrastructure. This role involves designing secure cloud architectures, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

Security Architecture & Design

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures and solutions.
• Recommend and evaluate security technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to integrate security into cloud infrastructure.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Develop and manage IAM policies and controls.
• Ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
• Monitor IAM systems for compliance and integrate with other systems.

Policy & Compliance

• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Conduct security audits and assessments.

Risk Management & Incident Response

• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead incident response efforts for cloud-related security incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Collaboration & Training

• Work with DevOps, IT, and development teams to integrate security into all software development stages.
• Provide training and mentorship on cloud security practices.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors for comprehensive security solutions.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Implement and manage cloud security monitoring tools.
• Analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to threats.
• Prepare and present security metrics and reports to senior management.

Requirements

Experience:

• 3+ years in cloud security, focusing on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center). Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) and automation (e.g., Terraform). Knowledge of container security and IAM systems.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty. Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
