Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and empathetic Clinic Assistant to support the daily operations of our psychology clinic. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow, maintaining clinic efficiency, and assisting in medication dispensing under the clinic's established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Patient & Front Desk Support
  • Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and inquiries.
  • Handle phone and email correspondence in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Prepare consultation rooms and ensure a comfortable environment for clients.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain and update patient records accurately and in a confidential manner.
  • Handle billing, payments, and insurance claims where applicable.
  • Coordinate with psychologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations.
Medication & Clinical Support
  • Assist in dispensing medication as prescribed by the attending psychologist/psychiatrist.
  • Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage and labeling.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to clinic protocols and safety regulations when handling medication.
General Operations
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic.
  • Support in basic administrative or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the clinic manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma holder or equivalent qualification; healthcare or psychology-related training preferred.
  • Prior experience in a medical or psychology clinic is an advantage.
  • Must be comfortable with dispensing medication and handling patient information confidentially.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathetic, patient, and attentive to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic management software (preferred).
