Impact Family International School (IFIS) is a fast-growing international school in Singapore, committed to delivering high-quality bilingual education in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. We are inviting passionate and dedicated educators to join our team as Chinese Teachers for our primary school levels (Grades 1–6).

Job Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
  • Conduct engaging and effective Chinese Language lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum, standards, and learning outcomes.
  • Use English when necessary to support international students who may not have prior Chinese language foundation.
  • Deliver lessons using the school’s provided curriculum, textbooks, and lesson plans (with room for creative enhancement).
Lesson Preparation & Assessment
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments that support student learning.
  • Mark student work and provide timely feedback to support academic progress.
  • Prepare student progress reports, portfolios, and documentation as required.
Student Development & Reporting
  • Provide weekly and monthly learning updates to the academic team.
  • Monitor and track student performance, behaviour, and language development.
  • Support students with differentiated learning strategies when needed.
Parent Engagement
  • Communicate with parents professionally during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and whenever required.
  • Address parent enquiries about student progress, learning needs, and classroom activities.
School Events & Operations
  • Support school-wide events such as school fairs, open houses, cultural festivals, and holiday activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the School Management in line with your teaching role.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Education, Linguistics, or related fields.
  • Prior experience teaching in a school setting is an advantage.
  • Experience working with international students is a bonus.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong command of both Chinese and English (to communicate with students and parents of diverse nationalities).
  • Patient, caring, and passionate about teaching young learners.
  • Excellent communication skills and classroom management.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Responsible, dedicated, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with international or Cambridge-based curriculum is preferred but not required.
