• Support main classroom teachers in daily programs to facilitate children's learning.
• Conduct daily routine care and related duties.

• Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development.
• Render basic first aid as needed.

Assistant Teacher

Work Location: Island Wide

Work Days: 5 Days

Salary: Up to 2500

Role description

• Support the main classroom teachers in the implementation of daily programs to facilitate learning of children
• Conduct daily routine care and related duties
• Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children
• Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback with the entire team once a month, adhoc basis and as required
• Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids
• Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development
• To render basic first aid as and when necessary
• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times
• Maintain and build relationships with children and parents
• Being part of the team, you will participate in parents and community engagement activities
