Job description
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Company’s financial strategy, planning, and governance. This role will oversee all finance functions, support business growth, and partner closely with senior leadership to drive long-term organisational success.

Key Responsibilities
Global Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute global financial strategies to support the Company’s long-term growth across multiple markets.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and global leadership team on financial performance, risk management, and investment decisions.
  • Lead group-level budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment across regions and business units.
  • Provide financial leadership to support international expansion, cross-border operations, and group restructuring initiatives where required.
Financial Management & Group Reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated group financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain group-wide financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks across subsidiaries and overseas entities.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations, while coordinating with local advisors to meet overseas statutory, tax, and reporting requirements.
Treasury, Cashflow & Capital Management
  • Manage global cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, ensuring efficient fund allocation across entities and regions.
  • Oversee banking relationships, financing arrangements, and cross-border treasury structures, including FX exposure management, where applicable.
  • Lead capital planning activities, including fundraising, investment evaluations, M&A assessments, and shareholder reporting at a group level.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Establish robust group-wide internal control and risk management frameworks.
  • Identify financial, regulatory, and operational risks across jurisdictions and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal governance policies.
Global Business Partnering & Commercial Support
  • Partner with global and regional business leaders (e.g. operations, publishing, creative, game development) to support strategic and commercial initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights to drive resource optimisation, cost efficiency, and ROI evaluation across markets.
  • Evaluate business cases for new products, partnerships, and regional or international expansion opportunities.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a multi-location finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative finance function.
  • Build scalable finance capabilities to support the Company’s growth across regions.
  • Oversee recruitment, development, and succession planning within the global finance organisation.
Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent are strongly preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of senior finance leadership experience, including group-level or regional responsibilities.
  • Proven experience overseeing end-to‑end global finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, and consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations, with experience managing cross-border or multi-jurisdiction finance operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial strategy in high-growth, international, or complex organisational environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence executives, boards, and shareholders.
  • Experience in tech, gaming, digital entertainment, or fast-scaling industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
