Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking a CCTV Engineer responsible for maintenance and technical support of security systems. This role offers career progression opportunities and requires relevant engineering qualifications, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as in a team environment and have a valid driving license for site travels.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma required.
  • Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control, and System Server essential.
  • Hands-on experience with OS tightening and virus scanning is advantageous.
  • IT Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and implement timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop preventative maintenance plans.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

About the role

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and implement timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop preventative maintenance plans
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
  • Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Preferrable with knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol
  • In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and System Server etc.
  • Hands‑on experience in security‑related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage.
  • IT Certification in Windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
