Overview
Business Strategy & Operations Manager (Early-Stage Exploration)
We are an early-stage startup building a local lifestyle & UGC platform in Singapore. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can combine strategic business analysis with hands-on execution. You will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our business, validating feasibility, and driving initial traction across new verticals and core operations.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and user interviews to evaluate new verticals.
- • Build financial and operational models (TAM/SAM/SOM, unit economics, ROI) to assess feasibility and scalability.
- • Translate insights into go-to-market strategies for new verticals (e.g., delivery services, merchant partnerships, UGC campaigns).
- • Provide regular business reviews and recommendations on whether to expand, pivot, or sunset initiatives.
New Business Development
- • Identify high-potential opportunities through research, surveys, and pilot testing.
- • Design and launch MVPs for new services/features, and iterate based on early feedback and traction.
- • Establish partnerships with local merchants, community hubs, and chain brands to drive adoption.
Strategic & Operational Execution
- • Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones.
- • Build and manage supply-demand operations during the cold start phase, including rider recruitment, merchant onboarding, and user acquisition.
- • Design and run growth experiments (referral programs, incentive campaigns, co-branded activities) to validate product-market fit.
- • Collaborate with product and tech teams, providing feedback from users and market insights to guide product iterations.
- • Track and analyze key metrics (orders, retention, engagement, fulfillment rate) to refine strategy and operations.
UGC Content Ecosystem
- • Develop strategies for creator recruitment, incentives, and retention to boost content supply and user engagement.
- • Collaborate with product and tech teams to optimize content distribution and recommendation mechanisms.
- • Run UGC campaigns (topics, referral programs, incentives) to drive participation and growth.
Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in internet operations, consulting, VC research, or early-stage startups.
- • Strong background in market research and business analysis; able to synthesize insights into strategic direction.
- • Hands-on experience in 0-to-1 operations, ideally in UGC platforms or O2O/on-demand services.
- • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or equivalents).
- • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment.
- • Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.

- • 通过调研、问卷和⼩规模试点识别⾼潜⼒机会。
- • 设计并快速上线 MVP,基于早期反馈迭代优化。
- • 与本地商⼾、社区、连锁品牌建⽴合作,推动业务落地与⽤⼾增⻓。
战略与运营执⾏ Strategic & Operational Execution
- • 将战略优先级转化为可执⾏路线图,设定清晰的⾥程碑。
- • 搭建并管理冷启动阶段的供需运营,包括骑⼿招募、商⼾⼊驻、⽤⼾获取。
- • 策划并执⾏增⻓实验(推荐裂变、激励补贴、品牌联名)验证产品市场契合度。
- • 与产品和技术团队紧密合作,基于⽤⼾反馈和市场洞察推动产品迭代。
- • 建⽴并监测核⼼指标(订单量、留存率、活跃度、履约率),识别瓶颈并持续优化。
UGC 内容⽣态 UGC Content Ecosystem
- • 负责内容创作者的招募、激励与留存,提升内容供给和⽤⼾参与度。
- • 与产品和技术团队协作,优化内容分发与推荐机制。
- • 策划并执⾏ UGC 活动(话题挑战、裂变拉新、激励活动),促进社区成⻓。
