Position: Business Planning Assistant Manager (Strategy & Data Analysis) (Jap Speaking)

Job Description
  • Analyze and utilize both quantitative and qualitative data related to the company’s platforms, products, and character IPs to identify challenges, generate hypotheses, and propose actionable initiatives
  • Take an active role in consolidating multi-country data to identify regional trends and supporting Southeast Asia-wide strategy development
  • Support procedures required for product launch (e.g., product certification) and facilitate smooth market entry
  • Prepare materials and presentations for internal meetings, including strategy discussions and executive briefings with counterparts in Japan HQ
  • Present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, media teams)
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding user engagement and commercial activity on the company’s platforms
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • More than 5 years of experience in data analysis, marketing, or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in cross-sectional data analysis across markets, games, media/advertising, and internet services
  • Ability to identify causal relationships and extract actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Japan language is required in order to prepare presentations and materials in Japan language and participate in strategic meetings
  • Experience leveraging data for marketing, communication, or business strategy purposes
  • Ability to structure and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience in product strategy, IP commercialization, or platform growth initiatives is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel) is preferred
