Role Overview
The Business Development Support Associate provides essential operational, administrative, and partner-support functions to the Business Development team. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive, and interested in developing a career in international commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and travel arrangements for the BD team.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, recap emails, and follow-up action points.
- Maintain organised filing systems for contracts, pricing documents, and partner records.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and quarterly business review decks.
Distributor & Partner Support
- Act as a first point of contact for incoming distributor requests and enquiries.
- Provide partners with updated product information, pricing sheets, marketing assets, and onboarding materials.
- Coordinate order tracking, shipment status, and inventory checks with the operations team.
- Assist with planning webinars, training sessions, and partner meetings.
Market Research & Project Support
- Support market analysis and competitor research for new territories.
- Assist with business development projects such as partnership evaluations, product launches, and regional initiatives.
- Help coordinate logistics and materials for trade shows, exhibitions, and partner events.
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Draft professional correspondence and internal communications on behalf of the BD team.
- Liaise with marketing, operations, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of partner and market projects.
- Maintain clear communication logs and ensure timely follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of administrative, business support, or sales support experience (fresh graduates welcome).
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
