We are currently looking for a strategic leader to join our Business Development team as an Senior Manager/ AVP of Sales, ASEAN, based in Singapore. This is a critical leadership role that will be instrumental in expanding our footprint across the ASEAN region within the BFSI and Fintech sectors, driving strategic partnerships, revenue growth, and positioning Mindgate as a trusted payments & transaction banking partner.

Role Objective

The AVP of Sales for ASEAN will be responsible for actively pursuing and closing high‑value deals and opportunities for Mindgate Solutions. This role will involve building and managing a robust sales pipeline, developing the sales and market structure for the region, and representing Mindgate at key industry conferences. The AVP will be responsible for both hunting for new business and farming existing accounts to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Lead the sales for the region/ geography to ensure we achieve the set target for the emerging market
  • Expertise in sales function, Technology/ Tech sales
  • Experience in Payment sector will be an added benefit to the candidate.
  • Define and deliver revenue and growth strategy for BFSI & Transactional banking/ Fintech sectors in the ASEAN region
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with high‑value opportunities across RTP, transactional banking platforms, Cash management systems, Cross‑border payments, digital transaction banking solutions & payment gateway solutions
  • Generating leads, qualifying leads, building & garnering healthy funnel, customer profiling & account mapping, co‑coordinating, handling customer objections, creating opportunities, and accomplishing sales cycle milestones in shorter time frame, directing all course of actions to deal closures and achieving revenue targets.
  • Lead large accounts do customer profiling, and territory planning with a sharp geography focus.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, bid management, solution pitching, to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with product, presales, and delivery teams to position the right solution fit for each client.
  • Present complex fintech & transactional banking solutions in a clear, business‑oriented manner to client CXOs and decision‑makers.
  • Stay on top of market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes in the payments space (including regional nuances).
  • Consistently deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Foster and grow strategic alliances and long‑term partnerships with prospective and planned clientele
  • Someone who is well networked and with good connects, client leads in the respective geography
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 10+ years of experience in IT/Software Sales, product sales, Tech sales preferred with a strong focus on BFSI, Transactional banking / payment domains.
  • Good to have - Demonstrated expertise in selling solutions around online payment solutions , digital payments, and real‑time transaction platforms.
  • Strong relationships and networking within the BFSI sector or other probable convertible customers for fintech in ASEAN region
  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of payments technology and ecosystem.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills at senior stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners for joint business success.
  • Entrepreneurial, solution‑oriented approach with high energy and drive
